Unentertained in an Entertainment Culture

Again with my theme

  1. I particularly liked this part of the story. I would like to read this warning label.
"Warning, use of this drug may cause suicide."

Treatment for depression among teenagers has been a controversial issue since a U.S. Food and Drug Administration scientist concluded in early 2004 that anti-depressants posed a suicide risk in youth. Another university-sponsored study also showed a link.

Since then the FDA has required drug manufacturers to disclose the possible risk on labels for anti-depressants. Some experts, including doctors, worried the warning would lead to fewer youths receiving treatment. (No! Do you think?!)
